Beth Fauerbach : Program Director
Beth has been involved in summer camps her whole life! Starting out as a young camper, moving into counselor positions as
a teenager, and now as a Program Director, she couldn’t be more excited to be spending her summer with Blue Tree!
Before moving to NY, she spent five years as the Education Director at Playhouse Merced in California. There, she spearheaded
the summer drama program.
She holds her BA in Dance, and spends her year teaching, directing and choreographing in NYC.
Tara Devlin : Teacher (Against the Grain) & Res Life Director
Tara earned dual degrees in Psychology and Art History, combining her love of the arts with her interest in media, culture and youth. She currently teaches with many
creative programs and is an accomplished singer-songwriter! She joined Blue Tree last year as a teacher and RA, and we are thrilled to have her back.
Lillian Dunn : Teacher (Creative Writing)
Lillian is an amazing writer and teacher, and we are so excited she is joining us again! She earned her BA in English from Swarthmore, and, as a Fulbright Scholar,
she traveled to Argentina to teach and write. She currently lives in Philadelphia where she works with a variety of writing programs.
Louise Salmon : Teacher (Fashion ReMix)
Louise is also returning to Blue Tree, to our delight! She received her BA with honors from the London College of Fashion and completed her time there with an
award-winning runway show. She works with design and textile studios in NYC and Europe, and leads a fantastic ReMix workshop!
Nancy Noto : Teacher (Acting & Improv)
Nancy earned her BFA in Drama from NYU and continues to act on both coasts. She has stage and screen-acting experience, and she has also created and taught
drama classes for many summer programs. As a Spielberg Fellowship recipient, she trained specifically to teach acting at residential programs. Welcome Nancy!
Khadijah Charles : Residential Assistant
Khadijah is a student at Florida International University, and she is also highly involved with socially responsible organizations such as
AmeriCorps, Strong Women Strong Girls, and NOW. She has led Alternative Spring Breaks, interned at Columbia University and is just great!
Claire Thompson : Teacher (Fashion Sketching)
Claire earned her degree in fashion from the University of Cincinatti. She has also worked in strategic design, graphic design and,
of course, fashion design in the US and abroad. She is energetic and very talented, and we are excited to have her join us!
Sofya Mirvis : Teacher (Story Arts & Illustration)
Sofya earned her BFA in painting, and is pursuing her Masters at The Academy of Fine Arts. She has taught
illustration, graphic novels and composition, collage, and fine arts. She has also worked with all-girls programs.
She boasts a very strong portfolio of work, and we are excited she is bringing her talents to Blue Tree!
